Pet Beyer The Salvation Army Charity Run – 1st June, 2008: It is with deep appreciation that we, the Syndicate (West Rand), extend our thanks to the West Rand Biker’s Association, President’s Council, related Clubs, other Syndicate Chapters and independent riders that supported our efforts in assisting the Salvation Army with the procurement of much needed items used to assist the needy within our community. The run was well attended, well over 100 bikes. We were proud of the support and turn out that morning, evidence of the fact that the West Rand Clubs and President’s Council will go the extra mile to support each other. Thanks too to those Bikers who assisted as Road Marshals. Once again it is with pride that we as bikers can say that we could proudly and in an organized fashion, contribute toward assisting yet again another worthy cause in our community. This we hope will surely be a demonstration of the fact that we are proving that bikers can also be worthy of respect within our community.
