Charlie [Papillon] passed on after being involved in a fatal motor vehicle / motor cycle accident on the 11th December 2008. We believe that his passing on was the will of Our Father.

Charles passed away after a biking accident on Thursday evening, 11th December 2008. Angela Brink is currently in ICU with several serious injuries. Our thoughts are with the family and friends. WRBA PC.

Charlie, you stood in the gap for Chris when he was doing drugs. Our Lord and Saviour used your faith, strength and ability to intercede for Chris in a mighty way. The two of you created an amazing testimony of hope that people need to hear.
We as a family now undertake and intercede for Chanell.
Rest in peace now, you have run and completed the race.

Aan Chanelle dogter en Steven en Celia ouers en familie van ons geliefde Charles, ons innige meegevoel en sterkte word julle ook toegewens.  Ons bid dat die Liewe Vader julle sal toevou in sy genade en julle sal vertroetel in hierdie hartseer tyd. Hy was 'n warm warrelwind wat almal se harte gesteel het en ons was trots op Charles, en hy was 'n waardige Biker en lid van Beyond Extreme MCC.  Sy plek is leeg langs ons op die pad maar in ons harte sal hy ewig bly.  Alex, Naomi en Ettienne en die Bestuur van Beyond Extreme MCC.
Charles Pote funeral - The family has requested that they would prefer donations rather than flowers.  All the donations will be in favour of the Salvation Army Krugersdorp.  The Beyond Extreme MCC West Rand will handle this on behalf of the family.  You could speak to either Alex 074 131 9895 or Naomi 079 774 1843 to arrange this.  Messages of condolences can be sent to stevepote@telkomsa.net or photographics@vodamail.co.za  or fax no. 086 513 7840 who will in turn forward the messages to the family.

Charles, you are soaring the heavens with wings like an eagle. The Sparrow that has fallen has been picked up by our Father above. Your wings are healed my brother, your legs are strong. You are looking at our Maker face to face. You always will be with us in spirit. Thanks for your concerning nature. Thanks for your prayers. Thanks for being there for me when I needed you. I owe you my brother, more than you will ever know. I trust that someday we will be united again, sit in God's Glory, worshiping, praising and adoring Him together. Hi son, on the 11th December 2009 it will be one year since your sudden departure from us. During this period of time we have experienced numerous and awesome spiritual confirmations that you are home with Father God in Heaven and.... that all is well! We thank Father God for the 37years of fellowship that we could enjoy as a family and also that we had the honor and privilege of worshiping and serving Him who is an awesome God.. We your parents and Chanelle your daughter, miss you a lot but would not wish for you to be in any other place besides in Heaven.

I wish to share the following bible text with you: Romans 9 vs.15 - 16

For He says; "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion".

"It does not, therefore, depend on man's desire or effort, but on God's mercy"
